We’re happy to announce we have added a new member to the CyRise team. Gearing up for the second round of our accelerator program and with promises of big growth over the next 12 months, it was the right time for us to bring onboard a Head of Marketing and Communications. Here she is to introduce herself.
Meet Chloé.
Hi there, cyber security startup folk. I come from an editorial background, and have spent my career navigating my way through creative, marketing and brand roles at food and fashion startups. With 4 years at Shoes of Prey, both in Sydney and LA, I had the dream journey for a marketing and creative hybrid. From copywriting, creative management and rebranding, to customer profiling, retention marketing and loyalty strategy, I developed a diverse and robust skill set. In January this year, I set myself up as a freelance brand strategist, and made my way back to Australian soil. I’m thrilled to join CyRise in a part-time position as the Head of Marketing and Communications.
Bringing more startup experience to the CyRise team
It’s important that the CyRise team brings startup experience to what we do. We’re here for the founders after all.
Having navigated the quirks of an entrepreneurial environment, I understand how important it is to be agile, to learn quickly, to maintain focus, and to be accountable. The startup process can be rewarding, it’s true, but it can also be painful. At CyRise, it’s our job to understand and support founders in their ventures. The cyber security startup ecosystem will be all the better for their contribution.
You’ll see me pop up on the blog and other CyRise channels and events. Feel free to say hello!
