CyRise is growing, and as part of that we are looking for someone to come and work with us in a sales capacity. We want to take the time to explain what we are looking for, because the person who gets this job will probably end up building the single best network of security leaders in the country. Not a bad benefit right?

A new product
In August 2021 we brought a new product to market. Leveraging our strengths in building networks that provide enormous value, we launched a new peer to peer education community for security leaders in Australia.
Setting ourselves a target of 10 sales before we pressed GO, we hit that target in 60 days using a 12 page deck and a zoom call. With confidence that we had something the market wanted, we soft launched to our first 10 customers in Sydney just before xmas last year. Since then we have been quietly running the product ourselves to make sure we understood where the value is.
Now it is time to accelerate.
Our new product is called CyRise Elevate, a peer to peer educational community for security leaders who want to get better, faster.
We know that for security leaders, the answers to the problems they face rarely sit within institutions. Instead, the answers for tomorrows problems lie within the social graph. Within the peer network. Therefore, by bringing security leaders together to share learnings we all get better faster.
CyRise Elevate is invite only and exclusive for security leaders who commit to our cultural values. For it is only by sharing transparently in a high trust environment that we grow.
We are looking for someone who wants to accept the challenge of acquiring new members for CyRise Elevate. We already have customers who love what we do, and you will be able to use our networks, partnerships and relationships to grow the membership base in existing and new market segments.
You will be tasked with finding security leaders in Australia that are a good fit for CyRise Elevate, introducing them to the value proposition and helping them get internal approvals for the membership. If all goes well, there will be very few security leaders in Australia that you won’t have an opportunity to meet. We also bring in international experts that our members can learn from, and you will get to participate in those sessions and learn from the best.
Ready to hire
If you are wondering what kind of a sales person we are looking for, you can forget about high pressure tactics, cold calls and chasing down prospects in the conference hall. We just don’t do that.
The person who will excel at this job will be more a relationship builder than a hard core sales hound. Someone who enjoys meeting new people and wants to build the best network in cyber. Someone who understands that not everyone is a fit for what we do, and that we would rather say no than bring the wrong person into the group.
